Open access policy

GOSP English Journal Publishing House is committed to advancing the openness and accessibility of scientific research by ensuring that all research articles published on its platform are fully open access. This means that readers can immediately, freely read, download, and share these articles without any subscription fees or access restrictions.

Definition of Open Access Publications:
GOSP follows internationally recognized open access principles, where authors and copyright holders grant global users free, irrevocable, perpetual access rights, as well as rights to copy, use, distribute, publicly perform, display the works, and make and distribute derivative works, subject to appropriate attribution to the author. These rights apply to any digital medium and for any responsible purpose.

Copyright and Creative Commons Licenses:
At GOSP, authors retain the copyright of their works and manage the exercise of these rights through Creative Commons (CC) licenses. Authors are required to select one or more CC license types, which may include but are not limited to:

  • CC BY: Attribution license, allowing for commercial and non-commercial use, replication, distribution, and communication, provided that the author is credited.

  • CC BY-NC: Attribution-NonCommercial license, allowing for non-commercial use, replication, distribution, communication, and adaptation, provided that the author is credited.

  • CC BY-NC-ND: Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives license, the most restrictive, allowing for non-commercial use, replication, and distribution without modification or adaptation, and requiring attribution to the author.

Data Sharing Policy:
GOSP encourages and supports researchers in sharing their research data to facilitate the expansion and validation of scientific knowledge. Authors are encouraged to provide a Data Availability Statement (DAS), detailing where and how data related to their paper can be found, including hyperlinks to datasets used or generated, where appropriate. The DAS should be included in the submitted manuscript, preceding the References section (not required for review articles), clearly indicating the location and access methods for shared research data, and providing explanations for data that cannot be made publicly available.

Peer Review and Data Archiving:
During the peer review process, journal editors may require that data supporting the paper's findings undergo peer review and be archived in an appropriate public repository as a condition of publication. In such cases, a DAS containing a list of shared data references and links to the used repositories must be provided. Authors are responsible for ensuring the reliability of any shared data, and any errors in the data shall be the responsibility of the provider of the shared dataset. Peer reviewers and editors will rigorously examine the manuscript's DAS and its compliance with the journal's data sharing policy.
